{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-178.060","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 178.060","heading":"Changes in location of county road.","body":"(1) The county road engineer may change the location of any county road in his county\nwith the written consent of the owner of the land on which a change is to be made,\nsetting forth the exact changes proposed. The proposed change and the owner's\nconsent shall  be entered in the form of an agreed order of the fiscal court and\nsubject to the approval of the county judge/executive.\n(2) The change shall not materially increase the length or grade or require more work to\nkeep the road in repair, or place the road o n worse ground than it was before the\nchange, or render the road in any respects worse than it was before the change.\n(3) If the county road engineer makes a change in violation of the provisions of this\nsection, the part of the road thus altered shall no t be established as a county road,\nand the former location shall be continued as such.","path":["KRS Chapter 178"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=5422","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:30Z","sha256":"8e4f42089b7f9e8b659a906e4b9188d62e55e0b4a7f374c49f18eefa9c1bc8fd","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-178.050","next":"us-ky/krs-178.070"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
