{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-178.333","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 178.333","heading":"Addition of roads to through road system for county containing city of","body":"first class or consolidated local government -- New roads -- Relocation.\n(1) The fiscal court of a county containing a city of the first class or a consolidated local\ngovernment may, at any time, add other roads, or portions of roads, to the county\nthrough road system adopted in accordance with KRS 178.330. The fiscal court or a\nconsolidated local government shall cause the proposed addition to be marked on a\nmap to be deposited wit h the county road engineer and to be open to public\ninspection. The same procedure set forth in KRS 178.330 for the establishment or\nmaintenance of the county through road system shall be followed in the case of\nroads or portions of roads added thereto. No tice of the proposed addition to the\nsystem shall conform to KRS 424.130(1)(b).\n(2) The fiscal court of a county containing a city of the first class or a consolidated local\ngovernment may establish or maintain a new road in compliance with the provisions\nof KRS 178.115 to 178.125, or relocate a road in accordance with KRS 178.115,\nand at the same time add it to the county through road system, following the same\nprocedure as is now set forth in KRS 178.330 and subsection (1) of this section,\nincluding notice in accordance with KRS 424.130(1)(b).\n(3) The decisions of the fiscal court or the consolidated local government made in\naccordance with this section shall be final.","path":["KRS Chapter 178"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=5455","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:30Z","sha256":"eb2f95e3195fd80d9b14664864277511e3f2f2006dac2cd52eeebbe70b3d5360","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-178.330","next":"us-ky/krs-178.337"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
