{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-180.300","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 180.300","heading":"Contract with other governmental agencies for acquisition and","body":"maintenance of bridges and tunnels.\nThe department may enter into written contracts with the owner of any bridge over or\ntunnel under any boundary line stream of this state for the purchase  or lease of the bridge\nor tunnel to connect any primary road of this state with a hard surface road or street in an\nadjoining state, when the adjoining state or a subdivision thereof or county or city in this\nstate, or the United States joins with the dep artment in the purchase or lease of the bridge\nor tunnel and jointly or severally contributes to the purchase price or the annual rental\nprice thereof, an amount equal to or in excess of the amount which the department\nproposes to expend for the purchase or lease of the connecting bridge or tunnel.
