{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-183.121","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 183.121","heading":"State airways system -- State airport plan -- Aeronautics controversies --","body":"Injunctive proceedings.\n(1) The cabinet may designate, design, establish, expand, or modify a state airways\nsystem which will best serve the interests of the state. It may char t such airways\nsystems and arrange for publication and distribution of such maps, charts, notices\nand bulletins relating to such airways as may be required in the public interest. The\nsystem shall be supplementary to and coordinated in design and operation  with the\nfederal airways system. It may include all types of air navigation facilities, whether\npublicly or privately owned, provided that such facilities conform to federal safety\nstandards.\n(2) It may participate as party plaintiff or defendant, or as i ntervener on behalf of the\nstate, or on behalf of any air board or governmental unit or other person in any\ncontroversy involving any right of the state or others pertaining to aeronautics.\n(3) To enforce the provisions of this chapter the cabinet may in a ddition to all other\nremedies institute and prosecute injunctive proceedings without the execution of a\nbond.\n(4) The Franklin Circuit Court shall hold concurrent venue with the courts of this\nCommonwealth of all civil and injunctive actions instituted by the cabinet for the\nenforcement of this chapter and the orders, rules and regulations of the cabinet\nthereunder.","path":["KRS Chapter 183"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=5730","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:34Z","sha256":"ba064cb2ce1beff1b6f433925f296eb73513ae0ac6bbbf1d0215f6c0114e1ef2","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-183.120","next":"us-ky/krs-183.122"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
