{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-183.862","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 183.862","heading":"Commission membership -- Compensation -- Vote of ex officio chairman.","body":"(1) (a) The commission shall consist of six (6) members and the secretary of the\nTransportation Cabinet or in his absence his designated representative who\nshall be the ex offi cio chairman of the commission. The ex officio chairman\nof the commission shall not be entitled to vote on any commission action\nunless there is a tie vote at which time the ex officio chairman may cast the\ndeciding vote.\n(b) The members of the commission shall be appointed by the Governor and\nsubject to Senate confirmation in accordance with KRS 11.160, for a term of\nfour (4) years. The members shall serve the term until their successors are\nappointed.
