The\nboard shall advertise for bids for such work by publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.\nThe contract for such work shall be let to the lowest responsible bidder,  who shall give\nbond with approved and adequate security for the faithful performance of the contract.\nThe notice of the letting of the contract shall specify the general nature of the work to be\ndone, the time and date of reception of bids, and the place where detailed information as\nto the work to be performed can be obtained.
