{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-184.140","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 184.140","heading":"Notice of assessment -- Methods of payment.","body":"The board of directors shall notify each property owner in writing of the assessment made\nagainst him and shall also cause printed notices setting forth the assessments against each\nproperty owner to be posted in at least ten (10) public places along the r oad to be\nimproved or maintained. The property owner may pay the assessment against his property\nin cash without interest within thirty (30) days from the date of the notice, or may elect to\npay the assessment by paying the assessment in ten (10) equal ann ual installments, the\nfirst of which shall be paid within such thirty (30) days without interest, and an agreement\nexecuted to pay the other nine (9) installments annually with interest at the rate or rates or\nmethod of determining rates as the board of di rectors determines, payable annually.
