{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-186.053","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 186.053","heading":"License for dealer-demonstrator trucks or tractors -- Fee -- Tags.","body":"(1) Every dealer in motor trucks or tractors to be used in combination with semitrailers\nwho engages in the practice of transporting property for demonstration purposes\nshall pay to the Department of Vehicle Regulation an annual tax based on the gross\nweight of the motor vehicle so demonstrated an amount equal to one -half (1/2) the\nregistration fee imposed by KRS 186.050(3). The Department of Vehicle\nRegulation shall issue a metal license plate designated \"dealer demonstration.\" The\nuse of such tag shall be lim ited to demonstration purposes, and the tag may be\ntransferred from one vehicle to another.
