{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-186.630","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 186.630","heading":"Renting a motor vehicle to another.","body":"(1) No person shall rent a motor vehicle to any other person if the latter is not licensed,\nunless he is a nonresident whose home state or country does not require that an\noperator be licensed.\n(2) No person shall rent a motor vehicle to another until he has i nspected the operator's\nlicense of the person to whom the vehicle is to be rented and compared and verified\nthe signature on the license with the signature of that person written in his presence.\n(3) Every person renting a motor vehicle to another shall ke ep a record of the\nregistration number of the motor vehicle rented, the name and address of the person\nto whom the vehicle is rented, the number of his license and the date and place of\nissuance of his license.
