{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-186.641","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 186.641","heading":"When abstract of driving record to be certified to county attorney.","body":"On and after June 21, 1974, and when the records of the Transportation Cabinet disclose\nthat any person has been convicted under the traffic laws of this state, or a valid\nmunicipal or county ordinance paralleling and substantially conforming to a like sta te\nlaw, of an offense occurring on or after June 21, 1974, which record of conviction, when\ntaken with, and added to the previous convictions of such person of offenses occurring\nwithin five (5) years prior to the date of such offense, as contained in the files of the\nTransportation Cabinet, shall reveal that said person is an habitual violator, as hereinafter\ndefined, the secretary of the Transportation Cabinet shall forthwith certify to the county\nattorney of the county in which such person resides accord ing to the records of the\ncabinet, a full and complete abstract of the person's driving record as shown in the files of\nthe cabinet. The provisions of this section shall apply only to offenses and records of\noffenses committed after June 21, 1974.
