{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-186a.074","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 186A.074","heading":"Titling of all-terrain vehicles.","body":"(1) As used in this section, \"all -terrain vehicle\" has the same meaning as in KRS\n189.010.\n(2) The titling of all-terrain vehicles shall be administered through the automated motor\nvehicle and trailer registration and titling system developed and implemented u nder\nKRS 186A.010.\n(3) The Transportation Cabinet shall promulgate administrative regulations pursuant to\nKRS Chapter 13A requiring the procedures for titling of all -terrain vehicles to be\nconsistent as far as practicable with motor vehicle titling. These regulations may\npertain but shall not be limited to the following:\n(a) Conditions and characteristics of certificate of title forms;\n(b) Comparison and identification of identification or serial numbers of all -terrain\nvehicles;\n(c) Application for title;\n(d) Processing of title applications;\n(e) Form of certificate of title;\n(f) Notation of security interests on title;\n(g) Title lien statements;\n(h) Transfer of all-terrain vehicle ownership; and\n(i) Duplicate certificate of title.\n(4) The Transportation Cab inet shall ensure that the automated motor vehicle and\ntrailer registration and titling system is capable of receiving and discharging a lien\nassociated with the owner of an all -terrain vehicle.
