It shall retain such records in accordance with a records\nretention and destruction schedule esta blished pursuant to the archives and records\nstatutes of this state.\n(2) Furnish on a periodic basis not less than quarterly to other states, either the original,\nor a copy, or listings of all certificates of title received from them, to include title\nand document control numbers in addition to the vehicle description and owner\ninformation.\n(3) Maintain active liaison with other states regarding vehicle titling and its auto -theft\nimplications, and obtain from them on a regular basis, listings of documents\nreported missing or stolen or counterfeit.","path":["KRS Chapter 186A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=6170","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:40Z","sha256":"fbb25f1203697d2021cbcf02f4b2b29bdad8f1ffd81947c93e84e2e607f7b6ec","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-186a.180","next":"us-ky/krs-186a.190"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
