{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-186a.270","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 186A.270","heading":"Commissioner may suspend authority to utilize automated system.","body":"(1) Upon receiving notice that a person who has previously been authorized to utilize\nthe automated system has willfully or negligently misused the automated vehicle\nregistration and titling system, the commissioner of the Department of Vehicle\nRegulation may temporarily suspend such person's authorization to utilize the\nsystem.\n(2) Whenever he suspends or revokes any person's authorization to utilize the\nautomated vehicle registration and titling system, the commissioner of the\nDepartment of Vehicle Regulation shall give immediate notice of such revocation to\nthe person whose authorization has been suspended or revoked and if such person is\nnot the county clerk, then notice shall be given also to the county clerk of the county\nin which the person is employed.\n(3) No person whose authorization to utilize the automated system has been suspended\nor revoked shall utilize such system following notice of such action until his\nauthorization to utilize the system is restored by the commissioner of the\nDepartment of Vehicle Regulation.","path":["KRS Chapter 186A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=6190","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:40Z","sha256":"a07e596793b7d0a79d01be3637fe172b2bea9c74dbd9a4f07aa1cd7f82e61093","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-186a.265","next":"us-ky/krs-186a.275"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
