{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-186a.330","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 186A.330","heading":"Duties of law enforcement officer in the event of arrest for violation of","body":"trafficking in stolen vehicles or stolen parts.\n(1) Upon the arrest of any person or entity for violation of KRS 186A.325, the law\nenforcement officer may cause the seizure, pe nding disposition by the court as\nprovided by subsection (2) of this section, of:\n(a) All vehicles or vehicle parts, held in violation of KRS 186A.310(1) or\n186A.325;\n(b) All vehicles and other equipment used to transport property in violation of\nKRS 186A.325;\n(c) All tools, equipment, and other materials, and all real and personal property\nused in furtherance of a violation of KRS 186A.325; and\n(d) All money or other proceeds gained from the violation of KRS 186A.325.\n(2) Upon the conviction of any person or entity for violation of KRS 186A.325, all\nitems seized in accordance with subsection (1) of this section may be forfeited to\nthe state in a manner consistent with procedures for forfeiture set forth in KRS\n500.090.","path":["KRS Chapter 186A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=6203","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:40Z","sha256":"3e2405c5c6b4af4908e4ca73cdf2868c4fbb00f145ae66e6827761ad2ee9327c","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-186a.325","next":"us-ky/krs-186a.335"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
