{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-189.011","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 189.011","heading":"Additional definitions -- Application of light regulations.","body":"(1) As used in this chapter, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings\nrespectively ascribed to them:\n(a) \"Authorized emergency vehicle\" shall mean any vehicle designated as such by\nKRS 189.910.\n(b) \"Wrecker\" shall mean a motor vehicle on which a  wrecking crane and other\nequipment suitable for motor vehicle wrecker service has been permanently\nmounted.\n(2) Provided, however, that the regulations in reference to lights shall not apply to\ncommon carrier motor vehicles whose equipment is regulated by  the rules of the\nInterstate Commerce Commission.\n(3) As used in this chapter, a driver's license shall mean an operator's license issued\npursuant to KRS 186.4102, 186.412, and 186.4121 and a commercial driver's\nlicense means a license issued pursuant to KRS Chapter 281A.","path":["KRS Chapter 189"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=47144","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:41Z","sha256":"4948d61460a6548530dbd43c9aeeb5ba792b158f12c2b7065b1171954d5ec655","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-189.010","next":"us-ky/krs-189.012"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
