{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-189.043","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 189.043","heading":"Flashing white or amber lights to warn of traffic hazard permitted.","body":"Notwithstanding any other provisions against the use of flashing lights, any vehicle may\nbe equipped with lamps which may be used for the purpose of warning the operators of\nother vehicles of the presence of a vehicular traffic hazard requiring the exercis e of\nunusual care in approaching, overtaking or passing and when so equipped may display\nsuch warning in addition to any other warning signals required by law. The lamps used to\ndisplay such warning to the front shall be mounted at the same level and as widely spaced\nlaterally as practicable, and shall display simultaneously flashing white or amber lights, or\nany shade of color between white and amber. The lamps used to display such warning to\nthe rear shall be mounted at the same level and as widely spaced  laterally as practicable,\nand shall show simultaneously flashing amber or red lights, or any shade of color between\namber and red.
