{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-189.2301","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 189.2301","heading":"Axle weight exemption  for vehicles on  state-maintained AAA","body":"highways.\nThe  provisions of this chapter to the contrary notwithstanding, a vehicle that has a\nvalid registration of a declared gross vehicle weight, including any towed unit, of\neighty thousand (80,000) pounds or less shall be exempt from any axle weight\nprovisions when operating on any state-maintained highway that is classified as a\n\"AAA\"  highway, if the vehicle is hauling seventy-nine thousand nine hundred\nninety-nine (79,999) pounds  or less. A  person operating a vehicle under the\nprovisions of this section shall have written documentation verifying the weight of the\nload being hauled is seventy-nine thousand nine hundred ninety-nine (79,999)\npounds or less.
