{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-189a.330","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 189A.330","heading":"Reporting by clerk of cases pending more  than ninety days --","body":"Actions by Attorney General and Chief Justice.\n(1) The  clerk of the court in which hearings for violation of KRS  189A.010 are\nheard shall report to the Administrative Office of the Courts on or within five (5)\nworking days of January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1 of each year the\ncases involving violations of KRS  189A.010 which have not resulted in a final\nruling by the court within one hundred eighty (180) days of the date upon which\nthe person was charged with a violation of KRS 189A.010.\n(2) The Administrative Office of the Courts shall forward a copy of the lists of these\ncases to the Chief Justice and the Office of the Attorney General.\n(3) Upon  a determination that there is sufficient cause, the Office of the Attorney\nGeneral may  appoint a special prosecutor or prosecutors to assist in the\ndisposition of these cases within a reasonable time period.\n(4) The  Chief Justice may  take actions deemed  necessary and reasonable to\nfacilitate the resolution of these cases within a reasonable time period.","path":["KRS Chapter 189A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=44877","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:44Z","sha256":"9f82a1900d67714f1fb55b077a2849cc71574e16eaf0199bf19251c152538b74","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-189a.320","next":"us-ky/krs-189a.340"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
