{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-189a.380","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 189A.380","heading":"Ignition interlock administration fund.","body":"(1) The ignition interlock administration fund is created as a restricted fund. The\nrestricted fund shall consist of funds deposited pursuant to KRS 189A.050 and\n189A.350. The Transportation Cabinet shall administer the fund.\n(2) The funds deposited pursuant to:\n(a) KRS 189A.050 shall be appropriated to the Department of Vehicle\nRegulation; and\n(b) KRS 189A.350 shall be appropriated to the Office of Highway Safety;\nfor administrative costs associated with ignition interlock pursuant to this chapter.\n(3) Notwithstanding KRS 45.229, any moneys remaining in the fund at the close of the\nfiscal year shall not lapse but shall be carried forward into the succeeding fiscal year\nto be used for the purposes set forth in subsection (2) of this section.\n(4) Any interest earned on moneys in the fund shall become a part of the fund and shall\nnot lapse.","path":["KRS Chapter 189A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=49939","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:44Z","sha256":"4f1747b1059d1914a6dfcfa5a33f5ce63e87a7b46758bcc837f287bc2d7d13de","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-189a.370","next":"us-ky/krs-189a.400"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
