{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-190.032","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 190.032","heading":"Nonprofit motor vehicle dealers -- License and regulation requirements.","body":"(1) A nonprofit organization, prior to engaging in the business of a nonprofit motor\nvehicle dealer, shall obtain a nonprofit motor vehicle dealer license from the\ncommission.\n(2) A nonprofit motor vehicle dealer and persons who act as salespersons for a\nnonprofit motor vehicle dealer shall be licensed and regulated by the commission\nunder this chapter, except that a nonprofit motor vehicle dealer shall not be required\nto comply with KRS 190.030(8) or 190.035.\n(3) A nonprofit motor vehicle dealer may sell vehicles only to:\n(a) A person who is a client of the nonprofit organization;\n(b) A person referred by other nonprofit organizations or governmental agencies\nwho meets the definition of client; or\n(c) A licensed motor vehicle dealer or automotive recycling dealer.\n(4) The commission shall promulgate administrative regulations in accordance with\nKRS Chapter 13A to establish requirements for initial application for and renewal\nof a license to be a nonprofit motor vehicle dealer and standards for disability and\ndisadvantaging condition.
