{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-190.354","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 190.354","heading":"License -- Conditions -- Screening.","body":"(1) The commission shall promulgate administrative regulations in accordance with\nKRS Chapter 13A to establish that the license required under KRS 190.350 shall be\nissued when it is shown to the satisfaction of the commission that an automobile,\nvehicle, or ma chinery recycler, or material recycler establishment or place of\nbusiness located closer than one thousand (1,000) feet from the right -of-way line of\nany road is, so far as deemed practical by the commission, hidden from the view of\nmotorists using the roa d by an artificial or natural screen, or is hidden by virtue of\nnatural topography.\n(2) The screening required in this section may be effected by the construction of a\nfence, or by planting shrubs, trees, or flowering plants, the foliage of which shall,\nimmediately upon planting, provide a sufficient screen or by making use of foliage\nalready in existence.\n(3) Any automobile, vehicle, or machinery recycler, or material recycler establishment\nor place of business that cannot as a practical matter be screened  shall be required\nto be removed.","path":["KRS Chapter 190"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=57070","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:45Z","sha256":"1904f8d1fca796461ed6b33034c426622c3c68d2d1741df29a01c7514d340369","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-190.352","next":"us-ky/krs-190.356"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
