{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-190a.100","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 190A.100","heading":"Recreational vehicle dealer's prohibited actions.","body":"A recreational vehicle dealer shall not do any of the following:\n(1) Fail to perform any warranty service work authorized by a warrantor in a reasonably\ncompetent and timely manner if a transient customer requests service work on a\nrecreational vehicle of a line-make that the dealer is authorized to display and sell;\n(2) Make a fraudulent warranty claim to a warrantor;\n(3) Misrepresent the terms of any warranty;\n(4) Fail to perform any pre -delivery inspection functions as specified by the warrantor\nin a competent and timely manner;\n(5) Fail to accurately document the time spent completing each repair, the total number\nof repair attempts conducted on a single recreational vehicle, and the number of\nrepair attempts for the same repair conducted on a single recreational vehicle;\n(6) Fail to notify the warrantor within ten (10) days subsequent to the second repair\nattempt on a defect which impairs the use, value, or safety of a recreational vehicle;\nor\n(7) Fail to maintain written records, including a customer's signature, regarding the\namount of time a recreational vehicle is stored for the consumer's convenience\nduring a repair.","path":["KRS Chapter 190A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=43557","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:45Z","sha256":"e6626655bd6fe756a621970623f63df020bdfcdebe55985d05001138aaec4fa9","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-190a.090","next":"us-ky/krs-190a.110"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
