{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-190a.130","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 190A.130","heading":"Coercion of recreational vehicle dealer by manufacturer prohibited.","body":"(1) As used in this section, the term \"coerce\" includes but is not limited to:\n(a) Threatening to terminate or not renew a dealer agreement without good cause;\nand\n(b) Threatening to withhold line-makes or other product lines the dealer is entitled\nto display and sell under the dealer agreement or delay delivery of recreational\nvehicles as an inducement to amend the dealer agreement.\n(2) A recreational vehicle manufacturer shall not coerce or attempt to coerce a dealer to\npurchase a product or service that the dealer did not order.\n(3) A recreational vehicle manufacturer shall not coerce a dealer to enter into any\nagreement with the manufacturer.\n(4) A recreational vehicle manufacturer shall not coerce or attempt to coerce a dealer to\nenter into an agreement wit h the manufacturer or any other person that requires the\ndealer to submit any disputes by the dealer to binding arbitration or otherwise waive\nthe rights or responsibilities of the dealer under the provisions of this chapter.","path":["KRS Chapter 190A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=43560","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:45Z","sha256":"2325db97923e1c347b627e760677c4543783a762e0e2eed448b1e558fdec4fd0","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-190a.120","next":"us-ky/krs-190a.140"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
