{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-194a.001","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 194A.001","heading":"Use of Kentucky Public Health Improvement Plan.","body":"(1) Public health stakeholders can be expected to use the Kentucky Public Health\nImprovement Plan in the following ways:\n(a) As a guide for public health and local public health departments to plan their\nactivities and budget their resources.\n(b) As a guide fo r public health to educate the public about the activities and\ngoals of the Department, its resource needs, and the progress it has made in\nachieving public health goals.\n(c) As a guide for health -planning purposed by public and private health\nproviders, such as hospitals, nursing homes, by provider associations, such as\nhospital associations, professional associations; and by health and social\nservice organizations, including funding sources, and nonprofit human\nservices agencies.\n(d) As a guide for local groups and coalitions of health and health -related\nproviders, and by local human services and other agencies, as for example,\npublic schools, in the development of innovative efforts to provide community\nassessment, policy development, and assurance.\n(e) As a resource for health policy analysts and academicians to devise and\nevaluate innovative health programs and services.\n(2) The Kentucky Public Health Improvement Plan will be considered in health budget\ndecisions.\n(3) The Kentucky Public Health Improveme nt Plan will be used as a measure of the\nadequacy of funding available for public health purposes.","path":["KRS Chapter 194A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=6632","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:46Z","sha256":"7f9932b1eb31a246df114f0937bfae05b58c17d2b0ced8b050e7f4717a42a079","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-194.990","next":"us-ky/krs-194a.005"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
