The\noffice shall provide oversight and strategic direction and be responsible for\ncoordinating the data analysis initiatives for the various departments that regulate\nhealth care and social services to ensure that policy is consistent with the long -term\ngoals across the Commonwealth.\n(2) The office shall have the authority to review all data requests received by the\ncabinet from the public, review the requests for content to determine the cabinet's\nresponse, and approve the release of the requested information . The office shall\nreview data analyses conducted by the departments within the cabinet to ensure the\nconsistency, quality, and validity of the analysis prior to its use in operational and\npolicy decisions. The office shall facilitate the process of data i ntegration by\ninitiating and maintaining data-sharing agreements in order to improve inter -agency\nand cross-cabinet collaboration.\n(3) The Office of Data Analytics shall promulgate administrative regulations in\naccordance with KRS Chapter 13A to implement this section.","path":["KRS Chapter 194A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=52614","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:46Z","sha256":"9f57a1027c04327cef006977479b89c20b4b363971b6b5f7e365a270c8fbb85c","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-194a.099","next":"us-ky/krs-194a.103"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
