{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-194a.365","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 194A.365","heading":"Annual report on committed children -- Contents.","body":"The cabinet shall make an annual report to the Governor, the Legislative Research\nCommission, and the Chief Justice. The report shall be tendered not later than December\n1 of each year and shall include information for the previous fiscal year. The report shall\ninclude, but not be limited to, the following information:\n(1) The number of children under an order of dependent, status, public, or voluntary\ncommitment to the cabinet, according to: permanency planning goals, current\nplacement, average number of p lacements, type of commitment, and the average\nlength of time children remain committed to the cabinet;\n(2) The number of children in the custody of the cabinet in the following types of\nresidential placements, the average length of stay in these placement s, and the\naverage number of placements experienced by these children: family foster homes,\nprivate child care facilities, and placement with biological parent or person\nexercising custodial control or supervision;\n(3) The number of children in the custody  of the cabinet eligible for adoption, the\nnumber placed in an adoptive home, and the number ineligible for adoption and the\nreasons therefor;\n(4) The cost in federal and state general funds to care for the children defined in\nsubsections (1) and (2) of th is section, including the average cost per child for each\ntype of placement, direct social worker services, operating expenses, training, and\nadministrative costs; and\n(5) Any other matters relating to the care of foster children that the cabinet deems\nappropriate and that may promote further understanding of the impediments to\nproviding permanent homes for foster children.","path":["KRS Chapter 194A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=53313","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:47Z","sha256":"07018fca46b1541e58d79e5183243a75211268747cb6701fcf31eae1baf432d0","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-194a.360","next":"us-ky/krs-194a.370"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
