{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-194a.385","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 194A.385","heading":"Definitions for KRS 194A.385 and 194A.387.","body":"As used in this section and KRS 194A.387:\n(1) \"Community crisis response team\" means the statewide team of trained volunteers\nwho provide behavioral health -related crisis response services in accordance with\nprotocols and procedures established by the department;\n(2) \"Crisis response services\" means consultation, risk assessment, referral, and on -site\ncrisis intervention services provided to persons with behavioral health needs\nresulting from a crisis or disaster. \"Crisis response services\" shall not be con strued\nto include any services performed or intended to be performed by any other agency\nof the Commonwealth, any of its subdivisions, or any private party included under\nKRS Chapter 39A, 39B, or 224;\n(3) \"Department\" means the Department for Behavioral He alth, Developmental and\nIntellectual Disabilities; and\n(4) \"Local community crisis response team\" means a team of trained volunteers who\nprovide behavioral health -related crisis response services in a county, district, or\nregion in accordance with protocols and procedures established by the department.","path":["KRS Chapter 194A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=53767","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:47Z","sha256":"894825e3e1407dbef2667d7b6d0903a9959c3a2549caa889ff23c56258fb8e67","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-194a.383","next":"us-ky/krs-194a.387"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
