{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-196.715","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 196.715","heading":"Services for targeted offenders -- Assessment of victims' needs.","body":"(1) A community corrections program shall be responsible for providing services for\ntargeted offenders which shall include one (1) or more of the following:\n(a) Preparing detailed community penalty plans for presentation to the\nprosecution, the sentencing judge, and by the offender's attorney.\n(b) Providing treatment, punishment, management, supervision, rehabilitation,\nmentoring, employment, and other services to targeted offenders, or\ncontracting or arranging with public or private agencies for services for\ntargeted offenders, as described in the community corrections plan.\n(c) Monitoring the progress of offenders under community penalty plans.\n(2) A community corrections program shall be responsible for assessing the needs of\nvictims for restitution or other types of assistance resulting from the crime, and for\ntailoring community-based sanctions for the offender which correspond to the needs\nof the victim and the community.","path":["KRS Chapter 196"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=6851","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:49Z","sha256":"3fc9986eb98faaf016302d42f8703e3e38926addbde199157c9008b3a96dd3c0","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-196.710","next":"us-ky/krs-196.720"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
