{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-198a.050","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 198A.050","heading":"Administration of programs by executive director -- Requirements.","body":"(1) In the administration of the programs authorized by or receiving benefits under KRS\n198A.040, the executive director of the Kentucky Housing Corporation shall\nrequire:\n(a) That to the greatest extent feasible opportunities for training and employment\narising in connection with the planning, construction, rehabilitation, and\noperation of housing assisted under such programs shall be given to persons of\nlower and moderate income residing in the area of such housing; and\n(b) That to the greatest extent feasi ble contracts for work to be performed\npursuant to such programs shall be awarded to business concerns, including\nbut not limited to individuals or firms doing business in the fields of design,\narchitecture, building construction, rehabilitation, maintenan ce or repair,\nlocated in or owned in substantial part by persons residing in the area of such\nhousing.\n(2) In the administration of rental residential housing assisted under this chapter, the\nexecutive director of the Kentucky Housing Corporation shall re quire maximum\nfeasible tenant participation and responsibility in tenant programs and services.\n(3) The executive director of the Kentucky Housing Corporation shall establish\nstandards of performance for materials, methods and design which meet the\nminimum requirements of appropriate federal or state agencies.","path":["KRS Chapter 198A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=6930","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:50Z","sha256":"1d8fb20c24a9c585d983374c84a6afcafeedef8d451ae4e8a15bb11260e6ed3c","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-198a.040","next":"us-ky/krs-198a.055"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
