{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-198a.070","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 198A.070","heading":"State not liable for obligations of the Kentucky Housing Corporation.","body":"(1) Obligations issued under the provisions of this chapter shall not be deemed to\nconstitute a debt, liability or obligation of the state or of any political subdivision\nthereof or a pledge of the faith and credit of the state or of any such political\nsubdivision, but shall be payable solely from the revenues or assets of the\ncorporation. Each obligation issued under this chapter shall contain on the face\nthereof a statement to the effect that the corporation shall not be obligated to pay the\nsame nor the inte rest thereon except from the revenues or assets pledged therefor\nand that neither the faith and credit nor the taxing power of the state or of any\npolitical subdivision thereof is pledged to the payment of the principal of or the\ninterest on such obligation.\n(2) Expenses incurred by the corporation in carrying out the provisions of this chapter\nmay be made payable from funds provided pursuant to this chapter and no liability\nshall be incurred by the corporation hereunder beyond the extent to which moneys\nshall have been so provided.","path":["KRS Chapter 198A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=6934","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:50Z","sha256":"cb85a4913bc137e2669337441cca987abbf943dcdf76c2e70392584dbf468633","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-198a.067","next":"us-ky/krs-198a.080"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
