{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-198a.750","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 198A.750","heading":"Rural Housing Trust Fund Advisory Committee.","body":"(1) There is hereby created the Rural Housing Trust Fund Advisory Committee, which\nshall be composed of the following eleven (11) members:\n(a) The Commissioner of Agriculture or the Commissioner's duly appointed\ndesignee;\n(b) Two (2) members of the Senate appointed by the President of the Senate, each\nof whom shall serve while a member of the Senate for the term for which he\nor she was elected;\n(c) Two (2) members of the House of Representatives appointed by the Speaker\nof the House, each of whom shall serve wh ile a member of the House of\nRepresentatives for the term for which he or she was elected; and\n(d) Six (6) private citizens with a principal residence located in a rural community\nwho shall be appointed by the board of directors of the corporation.\n(2) (a) Members appointed under subsection (1)(d) of this section shall serve a three\n(3) year term or until their successors are appointed and duly qualified, and\nmay be reappointed to one (1) additional term.\n(b) A vacancy on the advisory committee shall be fil led following the\nrequirements and procedures for original appointments.\n(3) The advisory committee shall consult with and advise the officers and directors of\nthe corporation concerning matters relating to the rural housing trust fund.\n(4) The Commissioner of Agriculture shall be the presiding officer, and the advisory\ncommittee may establish its own rules of procedure, which shall not be inconsistent\nwith the housing provisions of this chapter.\n(5) Members of the advisory committee shall se rve without compensation, but\nmembers who are not employees of the Commonwealth shall be entitled to\nreimbursement for actual expenses incurred in carrying out their duties on the\nadvisory committee.","path":["KRS Chapter 198A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=53513","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:51Z","sha256":"880acce4f8b23138b6baa29619537e633dc90cd949ac290d6dd3d5271ce8baa2","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-198a.748","next":"us-ky/krs-198b.010"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
