{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-198b.085","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 198B.085","heading":"Requirement for compliance of agritourism building with Kentucky","body":"Building Code -- Exemptions.\n(1) Except as otherwise provided in this section, an agritourism building as defined\nin KRS 247.801 shall comply with the Kentucky Building Code.\n(2) An agritourism building built prior to December 31, 2016, shall be exempt from\nthe following requirements within the Kentucky Building Code:\n(a) An  agritourism building built prior to December  31, 2016, shall not be\nrequired to comply with the seismic requirements within the Kentucky\nBuilding Code; and\n(b) If an agritourism building has a capacity of four hundred (400) persons or\nis six thousand (6,000) square feet or less, an agritourism building built\nprior to December  31, 2016, shall not require the services of an architect\nlicensed by the Commonwealth  of Kentucky.","path":["KRS Chapter 198B"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=47046","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:51Z","sha256":"d7acc6120ebc421fa4a35a5e0036e8533dfff8b15e5f70d3897f9a7128c9fbb1","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-198b.080","next":"us-ky/krs-198b.090"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
