{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-198b.555","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 198B.555","heading":"Administration of KRS  198B.550  to 198B.630  -- Duties of","body":"commissioner.\n(1) The administration of KRS  198B.550 to 198B.630 is vested in the Department\nof Housing, Buildings and Construction.\n(2) The commissioner shall:\n(a) Promulgate  reasonable administrative regulations necessary for the\nadministration of KRS 198B.550 to 198B.630;\n(b) Set or make reasonable changes in the fees charged for permits, testing,\nand other aspects of the administration of KRS 198B.550 to 198B.630;\n(c) Enforce the provisions of KRS 198B.550 to 198B.630; and\n(d) Conduct investigations of complaints and conduct administrative hearings\nas are required by KRS  198B.620 and 198B.625 and in accordance with\nKRS  Chapter 13B.\n(3) The commissioner may:\n(a) Secure  the advice of the committee with regard to administrative\nregulations if required by KRS 198B.030(8); and\n(b) Have  the competency  test prepared by  a  source other than the\ncommissioner.","path":["KRS Chapter 198B"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=46923","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:52Z","sha256":"66eb53e5d845606906385b4da8011f74bb805ef2d06ba7b2b2771fe545502deb","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-198b.550","next":"us-ky/krs-198b.560"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
