{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-198b.6403","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 198B.6403","heading":"Qualifications for certification prior to July 1, 2012 -- Pending","body":"certification.\n(1) An applicant for certification as a fire sprinkler inspector under this chapter making\napplication to the department prior to July 1, 2012, shall be certified by t he\ndepartment without completing the certification requirements as established in this\nchapter if:\n(a) The applicant is currently certified by the state of Kentucky, or\n(b) The applicant is currently licensed, certified, or registered as a fire sprinkler\ninspector in another state whose standards are substantially equal to those in\nthis chapter.\n(2) Prior to July 1, 2012, the department may issue a pending certification to an\napplicant. A pending certification shall allow the applicant to act in the capacit y\napplied for until the applicant's permanent certification is issued or the application\nis denied.\n(3) After July 1, 2012, certification under this section shall cease.","path":["KRS Chapter 198B"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=36628","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:52Z","sha256":"f4ac124ff461ba28fb96381cb9a24703ef16b4736996251d956dc6a4d81b478e","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-198b.6401","next":"us-ky/krs-198b.6405"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
