{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-198b.659","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 198B.659","heading":"Military training and experience satisfies requirements of KRS","body":"198B.658(1) or (2).\nIf an applicant for a master heating, ventilation, and air conditioning contractor's\nlicense or journeyman heating, ventilation, and air conditioning mechanic's license\npresents the department with proof of training and experience equivalent to the\ntraining and experience requirements of KRS  198B.658(1) or (2), whichever is\napplicable, acquired while serving as a member  of the United States Armed Forces,\nReserves, or National Guard, and actively engaged in that occupation as part of his\nor her military duties for not less than two (2) years as annotated on the Department\nof Defense Form DD 214, the department shall accept that training and experience.\nThe  applicant shall meet the remaining applicable qualification requirements set\nforth in KRS 198B.658(1) or (2).","path":["KRS Chapter 198B"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=46942","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:52Z","sha256":"e95368e583ef9293a4251e8b80d1ba21aec7dad0d4aa6852e4181444cafc78f1","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-198b.658","next":"us-ky/krs-198b.660"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
