{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-198b.6672","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 198B.6672","heading":"Prohibition on use of system not installed in compliance with applicable","body":"codes -- Inspection scheduling.\n(1) No person, firm, or corporation shall use, continue to use, or permit the use of any\nheating, ventilation, or air conditioning system that a n authorized inspector or the\ninspector's employee or agent determines was not installed in accordance with the\nUniform State Building Code, the Uniform State Residential Code, and the\nreferenced standards contained in the respective codes.\n(2) If a permit  is required by KRS 198B.6671 for the installation of a heating,\nventilation, or air conditioning system, no firm, person, or corporation shall use,\ncontinue to use, or permit the use of the heating, ventilation, or air conditioning\nsystem unless the permit has been obtained or applied for.\n(3) Any inspection required by KRS 198B.6671 shall be scheduled with the property\nowner or owners or their agent or agents at least one (1) business day in advance\nand shall be completed within three (3) business days of the scheduled inspection.","path":["KRS Chapter 198B"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=36636","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:52Z","sha256":"b78680056bd7e9741c730901fde714086d0e44b663e57155a29e7fdfc8f4aa3f","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-198b.6671","next":"us-ky/krs-198b.6673"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
