{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-198b.724","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 198B.724","heading":"Continuing education requirements.","body":"(1) The board shall promulgate administrative regulations in accordance with KRS\nChapter 13A concerning the continuing education required for the renewal of a\nhome inspector license and shall:\n(a) Establish procedures for approving organizations that provide c ontinuing\neducation; and\n(b) Prescribe the content, duration, and organization of continuing education\ncourses that contribute to the competence of home inspectors.\n(2) (a) A licensee who has initiated continuing education courses prior to the date\nestablished through an administrative regulation promulgated by the board in\naccordance with KRS Chapter 13A shall have five (5) days after the\nestablished date to complete them.\n(b) The board may not cancel a license for failure to complete continuing\neducation courses until ten (10) days after the date established by the board.","path":["KRS Chapter 198B"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=55512","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:52Z","sha256":"f843268b1560d7710831218846c92d5333a5f86840e3e1f2fb2938d938e4176d","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-198b.722","next":"us-ky/krs-198b.726"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
