{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-199.645","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 199.645","heading":"Administrative regulations for facilities and agencies caring for children","body":"before adjudication under KRS Chapter 630.\nThe Cabinet for Health and Family Services shall issue and enforce administrative\nregulations specifically addressing the unique situation of child-caring facilities and child-\nplacing agencies which provide nonsecure care for children during the preadjudication\nphase of proceedings under KRS Chapter 630. These facilities and agencies shall include\nthose operated privately and those oper ated by units of local government. These\nadministrative regulations shall include standards relating to the following:\n(1) Administration;\n(2) Personnel;\n(3) Training and staff development;\n(4) Recordkeeping;\n(5) Physical plant;\n(6) Security and control;\n(7) Safety and emergency procedures;\n(8) Sanitation and hygiene;\n(9) Medical services;\n(10) Food services;\n(11) Intake and classification;\n(12) Programs and services;\n(13) Resident rights;\n(14) Rules and discipline;\n(15) Admission procedures;\n(16) Communication, including mail, visitation and telephone;\n(17) Release preparation and transfer programs; and\n(18) Volunteer involvement.","path":["KRS Chapter 199"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=7219","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:54Z","sha256":"94e6d1a67c5f11e134d1477a6642ab698e899b53440fcf378761c720beafaeb0","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-199.642","next":"us-ky/krs-199.650"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
