These epinephrine auto -injectors shall\nbe stored in a secure, accessible, readily available location not accessible to\nchildren, for quick administration.\n(2) The cabinet shall promulgate admini strative regulations governing epinephrine\nauto-injectors in licensed child -care centers and certified family child -care homes,\nincluding:\n(a) Any center- or home-specific requirements that the cabinet deems necessary\nfor the safe and proper storage, admin istration, and disposal of epinephrine\nauto-injectors;\n(b) A written plan of action in case of an emergency necessitating the\nadministration of an epinephrine auto-injector in a center or home; and\n(c) A written notice that is provided to a child's parents , custodians, or guardians\nstating that the center or home has epinephrine auto -injectors at the center or\nhome and that the center or home will notify a child's parents, custodians, or\nguardians when a epinephrine auto-injector is used on their child.","path":["KRS Chapter 199"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=45348","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:55Z","sha256":"74e48372ac9392720093fbf941e2f11e77d95e56f486f4e6acd65bc83e9fd0ec","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-199.895","next":"us-ky/krs-199.896"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
