{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-199.8996","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 199.8996","heading":"Reports on child-care program activity.","body":"(1) The Cabinet for Health and Family Services shall prepare the following reports on\nchild-care programs, and shall make them available upon request:\n(a) State and federally mandated reports on the child -care funds administered by\nthe Department for Community Based Services; and\n(b) Reports on the child -care subsidy programs, training, resource and referral,\nand similar activities upon request by the public, the Early Childhood\nAdvisory Council, or the Child Care Advisory Council, to the extent resources\nare available within the cabinet and as permitted under the Kentucky Open\nRecords Act, KRS 61.870 to 61.884, and state and federal laws governing the\nprotection of human research subjects.\n(2) The cabinet shall include the number of dedicated child -care licensi ng surveyor\npositions and the ratio of surveyors to child -care facilities within its half -year block\ngrant status reports.\n(3) By November 1, 2017, the Cabinet for Health and Family Services and the Early\nChildhood Advisory Council shall report on recommen dations and plans for\nsustaining the quality -based graduated early care and education program after the\ndepletion of federal Race to the Top-Early Learning Challenge grant funds.","path":["KRS Chapter 199"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=53683","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:55Z","sha256":"9c34a76dd9ecaa35938c3dd851e198620f2500942a3027e63db88a62abb23a69","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-199.8994","next":"us-ky/krs-199.8998"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
