{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-200.460","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 200.460","heading":"Services provided by Office for Children with Special Health Care Needs -","body":"- Medical and hospital care -- Expenditures -- Appeal.\n(1) The Office for Children with Special Health Care Needs shall provide through\ncontractual agreement, or otherwise , such services as may be necessary to locate,\ndiagnose, treat, habilitate, or rehabilitate children with disabilities, and may include\nany necessary auxiliary services, such as room and board and travel for patients and\nparents or parent substitutes.\n(2) Children referred to the care of the Office for Children with Special Health Care\nNeeds for treatment shall be placed under the care of those physicians or surgeons\nthat the Office for Children with Special Health Care Needs deems qualified and\nmay be plac ed in a hospital or home properly equipped to render the necessary\ntreatment or services required by the child.\n(3) The Office for Children with Special Health Care Needs is authorized to make those\nexpenditures necessary to carry out the provisions of thi s section and KRS 200.470\nto 200.490.\n(4) Any administrative appeal of a decision of the office shall be conducted in\naccordance with KRS Chapter 13B.","path":["KRS Chapter 200"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=47926","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:56Z","sha256":"9a491aee20647985b7843a730ab9c9da2eb37e4daf660a42834e7f1a46969e60","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-200.450","next":"us-ky/krs-200.470"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
