{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-200.652","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 200.652","heading":"Legislative declaration of policy.","body":"It is the intent of the General Assembly that the policy of the Commonwealth of Kentucky\nshall be:\n(1) To reaffirm the importance of the family in all areas of the child's development and\nto reinforce the role of the family in the decision making processes  regarding their\nchildren;\n(2) To provide assistance and support to the family of an infant or toddler with a\ndisability that addresses the individual needs of that family;\n(3) To develop and implement a statewide, comprehensive, coordinated,\nmultidisciplinary, interagency system of early intervention services for all infants\nand toddlers with disabilities and their families;\n(4) To enhance the capacity to provide quality early intervention services and expand\nand improve existing early intervention service s being provided to infants and\ntoddlers with disabilities;\n(5) To facilitate the coordination of payment for early intervention services from\nfederal, state, local, and private insurance coverage, and the use of sliding fee\nscales; and\n(6) To coordinate a nd provide individualized early intervention services to infants and\ntoddlers with disabilities and their families.","path":["KRS Chapter 200"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=7322","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:56Z","sha256":"0747387954b710e6505d8d726924293112d200fbed2fe8e8a8522407b9978296","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-200.650","next":"us-ky/krs-200.654"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
