{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-201.170","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 201.170","heading":"Appropriations for maintenance.","body":"In order to provide money for maintaining the home and for carrying out the purposes of\nthis chapter other than those named in KRS 201.160, the fiscal court of the county in\nwhich the home is established may make an annual appropriation from the general fu nd\nof the county, and the legislative body of the city of the first class may make an annual\nappropriation from the general fund of the city. The appropriations, when in the judgment\nof the fiscal court and the legislative body of the city reasonably neces sary for such\npurposes, shall be made by the county and the city in such amounts, in such proportion\nand upon such terms as the fiscal court and the legislative body may agree and provide.\nMoneys so appropriated may be paid over to the board by the county and the city in\nregular monthly installments, but shall not be expended by the board for any purpose\nother than those mentioned in this section.","path":["KRS Chapter 201"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=7357","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:57Z","sha256":"2dded3f8a7ad4a9366064cb7939f8b8b45283a936c6c4b314ea5161230fcf497","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-201.160","next":"us-ky/krs-201.180"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
