{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-201.180","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 201.180","heading":"Fiscal year -- Annual statements of board -- Other information to be","body":"supplied.\n(1) The fiscal year of the board shall begin on the first day of July in each year and end\non June 30 next following. During the month of May of each year the board shall\nprepare and certify two (2) financial statements to the fiscal court and the city\nlegislative body.\n(2) One (1) statement shall show the amount of money that the board estimates will be\nneeded for the ensuing fiscal year for expenditure under KRS 201.160, and set forth\nin detail the sums needed for the different branches or departments of the\nexpenditures. This statement shall also show the estimated balances which will be\non hand at close of business June 30 of that year and available for expenditure\nduring the next succeeding fiscal year under KRS 201.160, and shall indicate as\nnearly as possible any additional funds or assets, other than those derived from\nappropriations, that will become available for expenditure during said fiscal year.\n(3) The other statement shall set forth the estimated balances, inventories, funds, assets\nand expenditures under KRS 201.170, in the same manner and detail as is required\nin the statement described in subsection (2) of this section.\n(4) The board shall also furnish the  fiscal court and city legislative body with any other\ninformation or data available to it which the fiscal court or the legislative body may\nrequest.","path":["KRS Chapter 201"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=7358","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:57Z","sha256":"150d9b32bdcca9336e492887100be7229a9d493a151b6718d2e63326bdd66ece","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-201.170","next":"us-ky/krs-201.190"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
