{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-202a.0801","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 202A.0801","heading":"Court -ordered community-based outpatient treatment -- Appointment","body":"of provider agency -- Multidisciplinary team -- Administrative regulations.\n(Effective October 1, 2026)\n(1) If the court orders community -based outpatient mental health treatmen t under this\nchapter, the court shall:\n(a) Appoint an outpatient provider agency recognized by the cabinet which shall\nassemble a multidisciplinary team; and\n(b) Report every order for community -based outpatient treatment issued under\nthis section to the D epartment for Behavioral Health, Developmental and\nIntellectual Disabilities.\n(2) (a) The multidisciplinary team shall:\n1. Regularly monitor the person's adherence to the conditions of the order\nand regularly report this information to the court, the count y attorney,\nrespondent's counsel, and any other party the court deems necessary;\nand\n2. Consist of three (3) mental health professionals, including any of the\nfollowing:\na. The respondent's doctor;\nb. A nurse practitioner;\nc. A prescriber;\nd. A therapist;\ne. A case manager;\nf. A peer support specialist; or\ng. Any other person deemed qualified by the court.\n(b) Any responsible adult may report nonadherence to the conditions of the order\nto the court, the county attorney, respondent's counsel, an d any other party the\ncourt deems necessary.\n(3) Reports may be provided in written format, in person, or via electronic means, at\nthe court's discretion.\n(4) The cabinet shall promulgate administrative regulations in accordance with KRS\nChapter 13A necessary to implement this section.","path":["KRS Chapter 202A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=58203","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:59Z","sha256":"f5d6d665c6b2f29473f87d660533e279c1f04e56b195f27df608c36295c51a00","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-202a.080","next":"us-ky/krs-202a.0803"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
