(Effective October 1, 2026)","body":"(1) By October 1 of each year beginning in 2027, the cabinet in coordination with the\nAdministrative Office of the Courts shall submit to the Legislative Research\nCommission for referral to the Interim Joint Committee on Health Services and the\nInterim Joint Committee on Judiciary a report that includes:\n(a) The number of:\n1. Petitions filed under KRS 202A.051;\n2. Petitions filed under KRS 202A.0811;\n3. Court orders for seventy-two (72) hour hospital admission;\n4. Petitions dismissed prior to a final order unde r KRS 202A.051 or\n202A.0819;\n5. Petitions that result in an order for involuntary hospitalization under\nKRS 202A.051 and if the orders were for sixty (60) days or three\nhundred sixty (360) days of involuntary hospitalization;\n6. Petitions that result in an  order for outpatient treatment or any other\nreasonable conditions;\n7. Petitions filed following a respondent's violation of court -ordered\noutpatient treatment or other reasonable conditions;\n8. Precertification review hearings conducted under this chapter;\n9. Discharge hearings conducted under KRS 202A.051; and\n10. Review hearings conducted under KRS 202A.0805;\n(b) The stage of a proceeding under this chapter where a:\n1. Petition is dismissed; and\n2. Court has ordered a respondent to court -ordered outpatient or any other\nreasonable conditions;\n(c) The length of time a respond ent receives treatment under this chapter prior to\ndischarge by a hospital or termination of an order to receive outpatient\ntreatment; and\n(d) A summary of the services provided to a respondent who is ordered to\ninvoluntary hospitalization or to receive outpatient treatment.\n(2) Any hospital, qualified mental health professional, and any other mental health\nagency who evaluates or treats a respondent under this chapter shall be required to\nreport data to the cabinet as required under this section. The cabin et shall\npromulgate administrative regulations in accordance with KRS Chapter 13A to\nimplement this section.\n(3) The cabinet and the Administrative Office of the Courts shall enter into an\nagreement to share data necessary to prepare the report required under this section.\n(4) The report prepared under this section shall not identify specific individuals.","path":["KRS Chapter 202A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=58206","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:51:59Z","sha256":"59bfee889074f2205fc409d317e729ceda3fdb46da1e214a484fcfef0a854b60","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-202a.0805","next":"us-ky/krs-202a.0809"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
