{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-202a.191","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 202A.191","heading":"Rights of hospitalized patients.","body":"(1) Each and every patient hospitalized under this chapter shall have the following\nrights:\n(a) The right to be adequately informed as to their individual treatment program;\n(b) The right to assist in the planning of their treatment program;\n(c) The right to refuse treatment subject to the provisions of KRS 202A.196;\n(d) The right to maintain, keep, and use personal possessions and money;\n(e) The right to receive visitors;\n(f) The right to receive payment for work performed on behalf of the hospital;\n(g) The ri ght to refuse intrusive treatment subject to the provisions of KRS\n202A.196;\n(h) The right to be free from unreasonable use of seclusion and restraint;\n(i) The right to seek relief from participating in their treatment plan.\n(2) The secretary shall adopt r ules and regulations for the proper administration and\nenforcement of this chapter.
