{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-205.525","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 205.525","heading":"Application by cabinet for waiver, waiver amendment, waiver renewal, or","body":"request for state plan amendment -- Cabinet to provide updates upon request.\n(1) Concurrent with submitting an application for a waiver, waiver amendment, waiver\nrenewal, or a request for a state plan amendment to any federal agency that\napproves waivers, waiver amendments, waiver renewals, or state plan amendments,\nthe cabinet shall provide to the Legislative Research Commission for referral to the\nMedicaid Oversight an d Advisory Board, the Interim Joint Committee on Health\nServices, and the Interim Joint Committee on Appropriations and Revenue a copy,\nsummary, and statement of benefits of the application for a waiver, waiver\namendment, waiver renewal, or request for a state plan amendment.\n(2) The cabinet shall provide an update on the status of the application for a waiver,\nwaiver amendment, waiver renewal, or request for a state plan amendment to the\nLegislative Research Commission upon request.\n(3) If the cabinet is e xpressly directed by the General Assembly to submit an\napplication for a waiver, waiver amendment, waiver renewal, or a request for a state\nplan amendment to any federal agency that approves waivers, waiver amendments,\nwaiver renewals, or state plan amendm ents for public assistance programs\nadministered under this chapter and that application or request is denied by the\nfederal agency, the cabinet shall notify the Legislative Research Commission of the\nreasons for the denial.
