{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-205.592","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 205.592","heading":"Eligibility of pregnant women, new mothers, and children up to age 1 to","body":"participate in Kentucky Medical Assistance Program.\n(1) Except as provided in subsection (2) of this section, pregnant women, new mothers\nup to twelve (12) months pos tpartum, and children up to age one (1) shall be\neligible for participation in the Kentucky Medical Assistance Program if:\n(a) They have family income up to but not exceeding one hundred and eighty-five\npercent (185%) of the nonfarm income official poverty  guidelines as\npromulgated by the Department of Health and Human Services of the United\nStates as revised annually; and\n(b) They are otherwise eligible for the program.\n(2) The percentage established in subsection (1)(a) of this section may be increased to\nthe extent:\n(a) Permitted under federal law; and\n(b) Funding is available.","path":["KRS Chapter 205"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=55575","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:04Z","sha256":"ea3b6fae5d4aae90b71c6ad93ca18f8d76201ced467eea109d2a7849dfe44a80","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-205.591","next":"us-ky/krs-205.593"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
