{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-205.6313","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 205.6313","heading":"Medicaid reimbursement for primary care practitioners at community","body":"mental health centers.\n(1) For the purposes of this section:\n(a) \"Advanced practice registered nurse\" has the same meaning as in KRS\n314.011;\n(b) \"Physician\" has the same meaning as in KRS 311.550; and\n(c) \"Physician assistant\" has the same meaning as in KRS 311.840.\n(2) The Cabinet for Health and Family Services and any regional managed care\npartnership or other entity under contract with the cabinet for the administration or\nprovision of the Medicaid program shall provide Medicaid reimbursement for\nprimary care services provided by a licensed physician, advanced practice registered\nnurse, or physician assistant employed by a community mental health center\nestablished pursuant to KRS 2 10.370 to 210.480, if the community mental health\ncenter is in compliance with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services\nregulations on enhanced primary care reimbursements.\n(3) Primary care services provided by a physician, advanced practice register ed nurse,\nor physician assistant in a community mental health center shall be subject to the\nsame reimbursement rates as established by the Department for Medicaid Services\nfor primary care providers operating in Kentucky.\n(4) The cabinet shall promulgate administrative regulations in accordance with KRS\nChapter 13A to implement this section.","path":["KRS Chapter 205"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=43456","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:04Z","sha256":"25be3cba9c2b436a9eed627d8ab412d305b508a26e9c01df47b456f96be4b6dc","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-205.6312","next":"us-ky/krs-205.6314"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
